The Mountaineers' running game looked good. The defense held up, mostly.
And Devine is FAST! 125 yards on his first 3 (!) carries.
Can we buy a pass defense somewhere? In the NFL, the Colts knew they'd being playing with a lead frequently and forcing their opponents to pass. So, they built a defense to protect against the pass. I don't remember WVU ever having a good pass defense. I think WVU should switch to a solid 3-4.

We're seeing just about what I expected for the season son far: Very one-dimensional sets in the first game, different looks and more complex sets in each succeeding game. I think Coach Rod is still sitting on the most exotic stuff for the bigger games. With the emergence of Divine I think there will be even more opportunities to confuse and destory the remaining defenses. Now if the "D" can just keep evolving...
I was thinking along those same lines. Also, we are missing to key starters that will eventually be back. Hopefully South Florida coming up will se there return.
